Kontras.id (Jatim) – Tipu teman seprofesi hingga ratusan juta rupiah, biduan dangdut warga Kecamatan Lowokwaru, Kota Malang, Renny Hermawati alias Renny Mozza 43, dibekuk Satuan Reserse Kriminal Polres Malang.
Renny resmi ditetapkan tersangka oleh Sat Reskrim Polres Malang dalam kasus penipuan berkedok investasi bodong. Ada sebanyak tiga orang menjadi korban biduan dangdut ini, diantaranya Dewi Kurniawati (30) warga Jabung, Dewi Wulandari (28) warga Turen dan Yuniar Adilla (25) warga Kalipare.
Kapolres Malang, AKBP Hendri Umar mengatakan, ketiga korban merupakan teman seprofesi tersangka sebagai biduan dangdut dari panggung ke panggung.
“Dalam kasus ini, korban dan pelaku teman seprofesi. Mereka sama-sama penyanyi dangdut. Untuk sementara korbannya baru tiga orang, kami masih mengembangkan kasus ini,” terang Kapolres pada konferensi pers, Senin 08/02/2021.
Hendri mengungkapkan, akibat dari perbuatan pelaku penipuan, ketiga korban mengalami kerugian hingga Rp 450 juta. Para korban menyetor uang kepada pelaku secara bertahap, setiap transaksi nominalnya berbeda-beda.
“Dari 88 juta, hingg 297 juta. Sebagian uang itu digunakan oleh pelaku untuk kepentingan sendiri. Ada juga yang di pinjam-pinjamkan,” ungkap Hendri.
Kata Hendri, guna memuluskan aksinya pelaku mengimingi-imingi para korban dengan investasi tembakau dan gula merah.
“Pelaku menjanjikan para korban keuntungan besar setelah menyetorkan uang untuk investasi bodong itu.
